Meet Valen! Valen is an approximately 1.5-year-old female Pointer/Dalmatian mix who weighs about 37 Lbs. and is now ready to find her forever home. She was found running loose near Hwy 276 and 548 on 3/6/26 and, sadly, no one came forward to reclaim her. Now this sweet girl is hoping her next chapter leads to a loving family of her own. Valen has already won over the hearts of the shelter staff with her gentle, affectionate personality. She is a very social and happy girl who enjoys meeting new people and gladly soaks up any love and attention she can get. She walks nicely on a leash and seems eager to spend time with her humans. Because Valen is still new to the shelter, we are still learning how she does with other dogs. If you currently have a dog at home, a meet and greet will be required prior to adoption to ensure a good fit for everyone. Valen's adoption fee is $125. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her rabies vaccination, boosters to date, and heartworm negative.
