DeKalb Animal Shelter

To provide an adequate animal shelter and facilities to serve DeKalb County, Tennessee.

To ultimately remove thousands of abandoned, abused and neglected animals in DeKalb County and to provide a permanent and safe location for them with an alternative low-kill policy so these animals may receive medical attention, be altered to reduce further overpopulation, and be cared for until they can be placed in new permanent homes.

We finally made it! November 6th, 2017 was our opening day. We are off to a great start! The staff, volunteers, and community work together to make our new shelter the best it can be. We are always looking for volunteers who are willing to step up and make a difference.
