Our mission is “Increase Awareness in Sullivan County about the humane treatment of animals through responsible sheltering, education, spay/neuter assistance, and access to wellness.
Sullivan County locations outside the city limits of Kingsport and Bristol. Portions of Bluff City and Johnson City are included in the county area.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. You can email or call for an application, or fill one out on site
  2. Approve Application
    1. Applications are approved the same day they are submited in most cases.
  3. Meet the Pet
    1. Meet the pet in the play yard or meet and greet room. If adopting a dog and other dogs live in the home we will
  4. Pay Fee
  5. Take the Pet Home
    1. All animals must be spayed/ neutered before they go home. In most cases this is done before the animal is on the adoption floor.
