Paws on the Green, Inc. rescues animals on death row in local and rural shelters in the South. We are a New Jersey non-profit animal welfare organization that promotes the adoption of homeless animals regardless of age, breed or health condition. We strive to take the ones that other rescues and adopters leave behind either because the pet is senior, has a health condition or has a disability.

Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Approve ApplicationOnce you have met the pet and want to adopt -- we will continue with the adoption process -- vet checks and home visits are done.
- Meet the PetOnce you are approved -- you may sign the adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee and adopt the pet.
Additional adoption info
We require potential adopters to fill out an adoption application; there is a phone interview, home visit and vet/personal reference check prior to approval and adoption. The Adopter must sign an Adoption Agreement.
