Rescue FAQs

We are a 501c3 organization in Catharpin, VA. We were inspired by Colt, our initial rescue from a kill shelter in rural VA after he was left to the elements by his previous owner. With a leg injury that was never taken care of, we knew he would not be easily adopted. Watching his spirit grow, and knowing that the homeless population is so great, we are making it our mission to save as many as we can...one life at a time.

Additional adoption info

$250 for puppies under 12 months, $200 for adult dogs, $100 for seniors. All potential adopters must complete an application and meet with a C.C.A.R. representative!
