CARE works to educate cat owners and the entire community about the importance of spay/neuter programs to effectively and humanely reduce the feral and community cat population in our area.
Our group is made up of dedicated volunteers who give their time so generously. We could never do it without their help.
Mission Statement: The mission of care is to benefit the Health and Welfare of community cats in Fremont Nebraska through education, population control, Minor Medical Services, and the securement of appropriate shelter and food sources, thereby improving the overall Health and Welfare of the Fremont community.
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Submit application through our website
- Interview
- We will contact you for further information, as well as contact your landlord if you rent, and your current veterinarian
- Approve Application
- Once your application is approved, we will move on to meeting our furry friends!
- Meet the Pet
- We will have you visit one or more of the foster homes or shelter to meet the cats/kittens you are interested in
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Take the Pet Home
- Take your new family member home and give them all the love they deserve!
