The first step in adopting one of our rescue animals is to fill out an online application. One of our adoption coordinators will contact you to learn more about what you are looking for in a furry companion and tell you more about the dog(s) or cat(s) you are interested in. We will do a meet and greet with all human and canine/feline members of the household, and one of our volunteers will do a home visit. If all parties agree, we will proceed with a 1-3 week home trial, depending on the situation. A home trial allows you to get to know the dog or cat and see if they will be a good fit with your lifestyle. If all goes well, we will finalize the adoption. Once an animal comes into our rescue, we will do anything it takes to place them in the best homes and make their adoption a success. When you adopt one of our rescues, you become part of our family. We will always be here for you, whether that is in one week or ten years.
