Rescue FAQs

We moved here from Illinois with the idea that we would stop doing rescue. But soon it was realized, rescue is not a job, it’s a passion. Pam started a rescue organization called Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus in the Chicago area in 2003 which specialized in Dobermans and English Bulldogs, but we did many other breeds as well. She stepped down and moved 2016 because she really wanted to own a coffee shop. While running the coffee shop many people would ask for help with their animals in one way or another and that is when Joe the rooster entered the picture. A woman asked if we could take Joe in as he was in a bad situation and his feet appeared to have frostbite on them. We said yes to Joe and that opened the doors to the idea of a sanctuary for animals like Joe and to taking in and adopting out animals in need again. . We will only be doing a few dogs at a time.
We are located in both AZ and in IL, but will adopt to other states if they pass the application process
