Desert Haven Animal Society ("DHAS") is a private nonprofit 501(c)3 animal welfare agency located in Pahrump, NV, operating under contract with Nye County to provide shelter and care to animals collected by the municipality's Animal Control Officers. DHAS also operates an animal shelter and adoption center, open to the public and providing adoption placement for abandoned, stray, or surrendered animals.
