Safe Harbor Animal Coalition (S.H.A.C.) is an animal welfare organization dedicated to the humane care of homeless and abandoned dogs and cats in Foley, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and South Baldwin County, Alabama, while promoting lifesaving programs in partnership with local and national animal welfare groups across the country.
We are located in coastal Alabama and are unable to rescue animals outside of the South Baldwin County, Foley, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach areas. To find rescue groups near you, please visit adoptapet.com and search for your city or zip code.

So you want to adopt a cat or kitten? Awesome! Our cat adoption form is the first step of our adoption process. Once your application is approved (usually within 24 hours), we'll arrange a time for you to meet cats or kittens you're considering, sign your adoption contract, pay your adoption fee and begin life with your new best friend!
