The mission of our small foster home based 501C3 organization is to rescue homeless dogs with no hope; especially those living in inhumane conditions. Whether it's dogs in cramped, dirty puppy mill cages, barbaric international dog meat farms, hoarding situations or those living in the streets and shelters - we give them a brand new lease on life. Wagging Tails Dog Rescue NY provides all the dogs we save with appropriate veterinary care, loving foster homes and adopt them out to caring and responsible forever homes.
We will adopt out a dog only to an approved home within a 90 mile radius of us
Adoption steps
- Submit Applicationapplication submitted and reviewed to properly match a dog to a home.phone calls to references and vet
- Interviewspeak to applicant
- Meet the Petmeet and greet, applicant must bring all household members and any other dogs currently living in the home
- Sign Adoption ContractIf meet and greet goes well adopters would sign contract and pay adoption fee at that time
