Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets through adoption events & area locations and provide medical care for shelter pets in need. All of our adoptable pets come from Mesa County Animal Services. Grand Rivers Humane is a non-profit 501(c)(3) established in 2005. Since then, we have found homes for over 10,000 pets. Your donations are greatly appreciated.

Start by filling out the adoption application on our website. Once we approve it, you can meet the animal and if everything is a good fit, you will complete the contract, pay and take the animal home! We are always here to support you after the adoption with any questions or concerns.
