Additional adoption info
Our adoption process requires an adoption application, a phone screening, meet and greet with animal, a home check and an Adoption Contract and fee.
ADOPTION FEES:
All of our dogs will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to being adopted; puppies require a spay/neuter deposit until procedure is completed. Our adoption fees are considered to be donations. All donations from adoption go right back into our rescue account, allowing us to continue to help dogs in need. At the bare minimum, the cost to properly vet a dog is $100-250. But some of the dogs we take on are medical or behavioral cases, which can cost several thousand dollars.
Submitting an application does not imply that you are approved for adoption. Adoption fees include all vaccinations, lifetime registered microchip via Found Animals, and the spay/neuter procedure. Adult dogs have also received, at minimum, a 3 week board and train program for foundational obedience and off leash reliability. This is valued at $3500 and you will have lifetime support for this animal. Available puppies have gone through a puppy bootcamp training program valued at $1,800. This is why our adoption fees are higher than average as we believe in setting each dog and adoptive family up for success with a strong foundation of training and reliability.
