Rescue FAQs

We have been rescuing beagles and hounds countrywide for 4 years. These are dogs who typically fail at being good hunting dogs or are no longer used for breeding. They are abandoned in the woods or taken to high kill shelters, where we find them. Once pulled from the shelters, we have them fostered and fully vetted. They spend time being socialized and learn to live in a home. Our main foster is with Dianne Snater in MN, where the dogs spend a good deal of time. We have a volunteer transport group, Liberty Ride Transport, who transports the dogs directly to us in Santa Rosa.
