Rescue FAQs

We rescue dogs and foster them in our home. We offer our foster dogs and our adopters a personal experience. I consider dogs ready for adoption when they are not only healthy, fixed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped, but also, comfortable, happy, house trained and ready to transition happily to a new home. Our dogs are all local dogs surrendered by their owners

Additional adoption info

I rehabilitate, train, and foster dogs for whatever length of time I believe makes them most ready for a successful forever adoption. I check in with adopters the day after adoption, and then again several days later. I am in contact with the majority of my adopters forever.
