Adoption steps
- Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
- The animal can be found on-line or on social media. In person visit isn't the only way to find the pet.
- Submit Application
- An interview/open conversation happens at the time of application (if in person) or over the phone when calls are made for apps submitted.
- Meet the Pet
- Meet and greets are done the same day if the visit is in person.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- If nothing in the conversation or history precludes the applicant from adopting, the adoption contract is drawn and signed and the fee paid
- Take the Pet Home
- If the pet has been spayed/neutered already, the pet can leave the same day with approved applicant.
