Rescue FAQs

Cat Connection 501(c) is a non-profit Cat and Dog rescue organization officially established in 1996. We rescue Cats and Dogs from the shelters and streets, take care of their medical and socialization and adopt them into new homes. Cat Connection is an all volunteer group with no paid staff. All donations and money raised goes directly to the care of our Animals. Cat Connection Animal rescues include: Los Angeles County and City shelters, Animals from homes that can no longer keep them and sick and injured Animals from the streets. Animals that come into Cat Connection are fully vetted, including testing for FELV/FIV, vaccinations, de-worming and treated for any illnesses and medical conditions. Cat Connection is a no-kill Rescue Group; all animals stay with us in our Cattery or foster homes until placed into a permanent home. We offer the public the courtesy of posting their Animals on our Adoption sites and social media if they need to re-home them.
We are based in the San Fernando Valley and serve the greater Los Angeles area, the San Fernando Valley and surrounding area. We are open 7 days a week for viewing, adopting and playtime. Visitors, volunteers and foster homes are always welcome.
