Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Please fill out the inquiry/application form and submit on our website.You will receive info from foster/counselor in return.
- Approve Application
- Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..
- Pay Fee
- If you are approved to adopt, payments can be made on our website through PayPal, Debit Card or any major credit card.
Additional adoption info
Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted.
So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
