All family members must be present to meet the cat. Cat/kitten must be to heavy for the smallest family member to pick up

If for any reason pet does not work out, it must be returned to us. Sign that it will never be sent to a shelter

We do at least a phone call within 5 days of the adoption to be sure everything is going as planned and answer any additional questions the adopting family may have. If things don't sound right, a home visit is scheduled

About Another Chance, Inc
At this time due to my husbands disability we only rescue cat/kittens. We are a mom and pop operation. We began our rescue when I was an euthanasia tech at Washoe Count Animal Services. Instead of euthanizing the adoptable pets, I would rescue them, get them spayed/neutered, vaccinated and offer them for adoption. WE have been doing our adoptions at the Petco stores, first in Reno later in Carson City. We have been a Petco adoption partner for approximately 20 years.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
