Zara's List

About Zara's List... In his time, Oscar Schindler saved hundreds of Jews from the fate of the death camps. Yes, 6 million Jews died during that time but over 1200 lived because of the actions of one man. He didn't save everyone. He simply did what was within his power. And so shall the folks of Zara's List. We can't change that in our country every year we kill millions, yes millions, of animals. And we won't attempt to save all animals. We will simply strive to save those that are within our means of saving. As more folks step forward to volunteer their time, their energy, their abilities and gifts and finances, we will continue to save more animals. Some day we hope that the death camps called shelters will be eliminated in our country but until then we will continue our efforts to save those animals that are within our power to save.
