We are Monroe County Animal Services. We manage the stray and abandoned/surrendered dogs for the entire county.

Adoption steps

  1. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
  2. Submit Application
  3. Interview
  4. Approve Application
    Vet references are required and thoroughly checked.
  5. Sign Adoption Contract
  6. Pay Fee
  7. Take the Pet Home
    Some adopters prefer to take pet home only after the spay/neuter. Some prefer to take pet to assigned appointment date for spay/neuter.
