Rescue FAQs

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to humanely trapping homeless cats and providing them with medical care, food, and, when possible, permanent shelter through adoption. Over the years we have trapped more than 3,000 cats and fostered or placed for adoption hundreds of cats in forever homes.

Love for Cats does not have a physical shelter. All our cats are in hand-picked foster homes in South Florida.

Adoption fees are $150 for kittens and $100 for adult cats. The fee includes spaying/neutering, deworming, age appropriate vaccination, and testing for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus.

Note: The adoption fee for purebreed MIXES, with or without papers, is $200.
