Rescue FAQs
We rescue dogs from "death row" here in Ohio, where hundreds are euthanized every month. Some dog pounds euthanize by gassing, and some by lethal injection. We want to save as many as we can from this horrible fate. Many of these dogs are young, puppies even, and healthy. They are euthanized due to space and budgets. Adopting is a much better solution than purchasing a pet store pup! So many great dogs in need of loving homes!
We are a non profit rescue, focused on saving puppies, pregnant dogs and large breed adults from "death row" at county shelters. We are hoping to build a new shelter facility and are looking to raise funds to do so.

SPECIAL ADOPTION FEES ON ALL DOGS (6months and over)- $75 until Labor Day- Fully Vetted!
Due to increased costs in spaying and neutering, we have had to raise our adoption fees slightly. However, we are still below average for adoption fees among private rescues. As long as we can afford it, we will keep our fees as low as possible.
Female Dogs: $155
Male Dogs: $140
$25- $50 Cats
For those over the age of 55, adopt a pet ages 4+ for a reduced adoption fee.
