Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Over the phone, email, or in person
  2. Interview
    1. Usually done via email
  3. Meet the Pet
    1. A meet and greet is at your home & takes place only after your application has been approved and you have been selected as a possible home.
  4. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. If all goes well at the meet and greet we can finalize usually that day and your new pet can stay!
  5. Take the Pet Home
    1. There will be additional check ups at 1 day after adoption, 1 week and 1 month.

Additional adoption info

If an adoption doesn't work out for any reason the animal must be returned to our shelter. Depending on the situation we will try to help you find a more compatible animal.
