If the pet is too young to be spayed or neutered at the time of adoption, we will follow up to ensure that this has been done by the owner at the appropriate time. We must have an approved adoption application, complete a home visit and check a veterinarian reference before adoption is completed. Adoption fees vary on each adoption based upon the age of the pet, the health of the pet and the costs incurred for the animal's medical care prior to adoption, as well as transportation costs.
