We only adopt to loving homes where the animals will be treated well and live indoors.
The process involves an application meet and greet, and home check.
Adopters are responsible for the adoption fee and transport fees.
Our dog adoption fees are as follows:
Adults(9 months or older)
- Large (40lbs or over) - $150
- Small (under 40lbs) - $250
Puppies (under 9 months) - All sizes - $350
Special Pricing (Indicated by * following dog's name on listings at www.houstoncaresrescue.org/adoption) All animals are vetted and spayed/neutered.
Our cat adoption fees are as follows:
- Cats $85
- Kittens (under 9 months) $95
This animal is fostered in Houston TX and won't be transported until adopted. The adopter will pay the adoption fee and the additional health certificate and transport fees. Transport fees are set by the individual transport companies and range usually between $150 and $250 with an additional $50 health certificate fee.No adoption discounts or specials are honored for out of state adoptions. All animals must be fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, healthy, and microchipped to be able to qualify for transport (animals that are too young to have finished their vetting are not eligible for transport).
