Shelter FAQs

C.A.R.E. was established in May of 2014 to address the critical lack of resources in Sullivan County, N.Y. for unwanted, neglected and abused animals. Catskill Animal Rescue, Inc. is a N.Y. State Incorporation with U.S. Federal 501C3 status as a non-profit. We provide low cost spay/neuter, adoption, public education, assistance to the elderly and poor, support for enforcement of cruelty law and shelter for animals in need.

    1. We offer an initial ZOOM meeting or we will make an appointment for you to meet in person. Social distancing and mask protocols in effect.

    1. Sign Adoption Contract and take your new pet home!
