Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationComplete online Adoption Application. Click “Submit,” and we’ll follow up with an email including further instructions.
- InterviewSchedule a call with our Adoption Coordinator. (That’s when the fun starts!)
- Approve Application
- Meet the PetSpend time with selected kitty (or kitties) in their foster home, at our Rescue Sanctuary or local partner, Norfolk, VA’s Catnip Cat Cafe.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Pay Fee

1. APPLICATION:
a. Complete and submit the online form at www.feralaffairs.org/adopt/
b. Schedule a call with our Adoption Coordinator to review your application/questionnaire for approval and answer any questions about the process
2. MEET-N-GREET: We'll set up a time for you to get to know each other whether at their foster home and/or Norfolk's Catnip Cat Cafe
3. CONTRACT: If you & your cat (s) are a good match, then the adoption proceeds. Contract is completed, signed, fee is paid, and your new furry friend(s) can go home with you!
