Adult dogs are given their vaccinations and also a Booster if needed.Rabies vaccination done by veterinarian if 3 months and older.Heart worm prevention during the time the dog or puppy is in foster care and agreed by adopter that heart worm prevention will continue to be given to that dog or puppy after they go to adopter's home.De-worming which is given during time puppy or dog is in foster care. Please note it is important for an adopted dog or puppy to stay on heart worm prevention because it not only protects against heart worms but other worms as round, whip and hook.Flea/tick prevention which is given monthly while in foster careSpay/neuter if the dog is old enough. Adopter must sign a contract for any reason the puppy is not altered before he goes to adopter's home so that puppy will be spayed or neutered by the time they are 6 months old.
