Rescue FAQs

In our 4 years as a nonprofit animal rescue we’ve found homes for over 3000 animals. We focus on that beautiful human:animal connection and help you find exactly what you’re looking for. We provide a warm furry lap cat for Seniors through our Catalyst Program and share our supply of pet food/supplies with the community. We recently had to leave our property in Peoria, but are looking for a new space in the same vicinity. In the meantime our animals are safe and well cared for in foster homes. We look forward to helping you find your purrfect cat or barktacular dog!

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Click the link on this website and we’ll send you the application to get to know you better.
  2. Interview
    1. Tell us what you’re interested in. If we don’t have the right animal we may be able to refer you to another rescue.
  3. Meet the Pet
    1. We are temporarily foster - based. Let us know who you’d like to meet and we’ll set up a meet & greet!
  4. Take the Pet Home
    1. Once you fall in love we can do the paperwork & talk about an adoption donation (no set fee) right at the foster home.
