Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are asked to first fill out an application. If the application appears to be an appropriate match to the needs and safety of the rescue animal, the applicant will be contacted. There is then a 1 hour max, meet and greet, at the animal's foster home, for the animal to meet EVERYONE in the family and make sure all family members love the animal, and are comfortable with potentially adopting the animal. This is the time to ask the foster family more detailed questions about the furry friend of interest. This is a no pressure, friendly visit; no one will leave with an animal the same day they meet. If after the meet and greet, the rescue and family agree that the placement is a good fit, the family will be contacted and invited to set a date to begin the 2 week fost-to-adopt process.
