Rescue FAQs

Klassy Kats s a no-kill cat rescue organization dedicated to providing a healthy and safe environment for felines that have nowhere left to turn in Butts County and have been owner-released. Felines that come into our rescue are fully vetted prior to finding loving and permanent homes through our adoption process. We are committed to reducing the overpopulation of cats in the Butts County" kommunity" by using a pro-active approach of promoting low-cost spay and neuter programs, along with educating and assisting the community with Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) projects. Karing for the kommunity by karing for the kitties of Butts County.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. We work with private adoptions as well as helping with adoptions at the shelter we volunteer with.
  2. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
    1. We are foster based and do not have our own facility and do all of our "Meet and Greets" at Petsense in Locust Grove, GA.
  3. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. Once a match has been made between adopter and their new kitty, owner will sign an adoption agreement and take their kitty home.

Additional adoption info

We like to work with clients to find them the perfect match in personality, looks, and home environment that our kitties will be located.
