Working Dogs For Vets Mission is to provide service dogs and training to disabled heroes in need, empowering them as they return to civilian life with a new found independence; reducing suicide and overcrowding in animal shelters. We are additionally helping to serve our community by offering adoption, grooming, and training services

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. We provide service dog training + adoption. K9s that cant work may be adopted as an esa or pet. If service dog is needed include dr letter
  2. Interview
    1. After we receive application and dr's letter call to schedule an appointment with us.
  3. Approve Application
    1. After meeting with you and your family we will contact you to come back to the facility to meet adoptable k9's.
  4. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
    1. If it is only an esa or pet and there is one that matches. Or if you are in need of help with service dog training we will schedule classes.
