Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationDogs are placed based on best match only. A pre-application questionnaire is sent to all inquiries before discussing individual dogs.
- InterviewAn email interview follows up the pre-application questionnaire.
- Home CheckIf the interview is a successful match, the next step is a home visit by a volunteer to further discuss any potential matches.
- Meet the PetThe meet and greet is the final step once all other steps have been cleared.
- Sign Adoption ContractIf the meet & greet goes well the adoption contract is signed. All adopted dogs must attend formal dog training within 2 weeks of adoption.
Additional adoption info
If applying to adopt a behavioural dog with a bite history, proof of home owners insurance covering said dog is required in writing.
