Submit Application
Print application & complete. Then scan or take photos & email to storybookrescues@outlook.com. If you have a vet let them know we will call

Interview
We will get back with you to answer questions and make sure the animal is the right fit, so be sure your contact info is legible.

Meet the Pet
This is where you come out and meet the animal/s you would like to adopt. If possible we can bring animal to you too for a meet and greet.

Once you have been approved and met the animal/s and we all agree it is the perfect fit the adopter will sign contract, pay fees and can take the animal/s home.

We are a small 501c(c)3 located in Cat Spring, Texas. Our rescues are saved from the horrors of kill pens and crowded shelters or are surrendered to us by owners who can no longer care for them. We believe that animals belong in a humane and loving environment where they are treated like family and afforded a life of contentment, whether it is only temporary before they go to a forever home or whether they live out their days with us happily ever after.

Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
