Rescue FAQs
We are a 501c3 dog rescue that focuses on bully breeds. Most of our dogs have had either behavioral marks against them or medical issues. Our mission is to Reform the Dog Agenda through intentional rescue & educating the community.
La county, Orange County, Santa Clara county, Santa Cruz county, Stanislaus county, All of the Bay Area, most of the Central Valley, riverside county, & San Diego county. We also adopt to Oregon, Nevada, Arizona.
Adoption steps
- Submit Applicationwww.cabullyrescue.org/adopt
- InterviewYou will be contacted via email for an interview if we need to clarify any questions on your application as well as a pre-approval process.
- Meet the PetWe will set up a meet and greet with all humans in the home and the pet you’re interested in, then a meet and greet with any resident dogs.
- Home CheckNext we will conduct a virtual or in person home check and reference check.
- Sign Adoption ContractAfter that you will sign our adoption contract, pay our adoption fee, and take your new family member home!
Additional adoption info
We respond to applications within 7-10 days. Dogs do not go home upon first meet and greet.
