Rescue FAQs
From Forgotten to Forever Rescue and Transport is a 501c3 non-profit rescue in Colorado. We save animals in Colorado as well as high-kill shelters in NM and west TX. We are a foster-based rescue and have fosters all over the state of Colorado. We have board members and coordinators in Southern Colorado and the Denver area.

- Meet the PetThere may be some exceptions where a meet and greet can be scheduled prior to or at the same time as home check.
- Sign Adoption Contract
- Pay Fee
- Take the Pet HomeThe contract, fee and taking the pet home can occur at the meet and greet.
Additional adoption info
We are a foster-based rescue. Our animals are in homes while in foster care rather than in a shelter. Once the application and home check are complete, a meet and greet will be scheduled with the foster family. Once the family decides on the animal, the contract will be processed and adoption fee with be paid and they can take the pet home that day.
