Rescue FAQs

We started the organization Of Cats & Prey because Glenville, where we live, has a massive problem with stray and homeless cats and we just can't stand to see them being treated like this. We take in surrendered cats and trap the "wild" cats and get them vet checked, spayed or neutered, and anything else they need. Then we try our best to find them loving homes. We also take in small animals and reptiles that can no longer be taken care of or that are unwanted for a number of reasons, and we adopt these out as well
We rescue cats from Glenville WV and we rescue rabbits, other small animals, and reptiles from the state of WV

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. We have adoption applications based on the type of pet being adopted that need to be filled out by the potential adopter.
  2. Approve Application

  3. Meet the Pet
    1. You can either come to our shelter or to one of our adoption events to meet the cat or other pet your interested in adopting.
  4. Pay Fee
    1. Before taking your pet home you will need to pay the adoption fee.
  5. Take the Pet Home
