Rescue FAQs

Our county does not have a shelter. We accept animals who have medical or behavioral needs that the current owners cannot afford or manage and accept strays/surrenders. Many animals will remain with us while others are rehabilitated and ready for adoption. All of our adoptable dogs have had a negative heart worm test, are on Bordetella, are UTD on Parvo, rabies and have been spayed/neutered (age dependent). All animals are socialized with other dogs and many have been around our one house cat. None are kept in kennels. We have them grouped in 1/2 acre compounds where they can run and play. When you adopt with us we provide you with the original rabies tag, the name/number of the vet who completed the other tests and a leash. Our adoptions are ALWAYS FREE and if for any reason the adoption doesn't work just simply return the animal - NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
