ABOUT FRIENDS OF CHICO ADOPTION CENTER: Our mission is to “rescue, rehabilitate, adopt.” In Portuguese, focar means “to focus.” We plan to focus on helping special needs animals, accepting owner surrenders, educating the community about animal welfare and pet parenting, providing guidance and resources to help pet parents keep their companions, and advocating for pet parent rights. With more than 70 million homeless cats and dogs across the U.S., FOC seeks to address the root causes of this problem locally. After Contracted is Signed. We will collect the adoption fee, and after a quick educational counseling session they can take the cat home. Sometimes our full adoption process can take up to 5 days to be completed.
