ABOUT FRIENDS OF CHICO ADOPTION CENTER: Our mission is to “rescue, rehabilitate, adopt.” In Portuguese, focar means “to focus.” We plan to focus on helping special needs animals, accepting owner surrenders, educating the community about animal welfare and pet parenting, providing guidance and resources to help pet parents keep their companions, and advocating for pet parent rights.
