Rescue FAQs

Rescue Friends Ranch NFP is a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue located in South Austin, Texas. We currently rescue any and all types of dogs without discrimination, but primarily focus on the underdogs - whether that be dogs with special needs, seniors, scaredies, ferals, strays, or dogs on an urgent euthanasia deadline - we work to physically, emotionally, and behaviorally rehabilitate dogs coming from critical circumstances so they can have the life that they deserve. Rescue Friends Ranch NFP is ran alongside Rescue Friends Ranch LLC, which provides boarding, training, daycare, socialization, and outings to clients in the community for profit. All profit from RFR LLC pet services are transferred directly to RFR NFP to help fund our rescue work. This relationship also benefits the rescue dogs by providing them access to all services RFR LLC offers; including interaction with socialized client dogs, and built-in exposure and matchmaking with the RFR client base. Rescue Friends Ranch LLC/NFP is a vegan-owned organization and is working toward expanding our rescue efforts to include a wide variety of additional companion and non-companion animals.
