Rescue FAQs

Purring Angels is a cattery located in Bridgeton, NC. It was established in 2019 and is run today by a small handful of dedicated volunteers. The Purring Angels cattery is a small housing facility for stray and feral cats who have been rescued by Purring Angels from the streets of New Bern and Bridgeton. Purring Angels rehabilitates and socializes those cats and kittens who can be adopted, but when adoption or placement in a safe barn home is not an option, Purring Angels becomes the cat’s permanent home.
