Rescue FAQs
Our mission is to give rural shelter animals a second chance at life. Rural shelters in Oklahoma are hit hard due to lack of funding and resources. We will work to provide vetting services to these animals, as well as provide a variety of resources needed to keep our rural shelter pets from being euthanized.

Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationOnce you have selected a pet you love, fill out our adoption application! Once approved, you can meet your pet.
- Home Check
- Meet the PetMeeting your pet and home check will happen at the same time! Please note/ meet and greets so not always mean adoption.
- Sign Adoption ContractIf your meet and greet goes well, you will sign your next adoption contract.
- Pay FeeOnce your contract is complete, please pay your adoption fee via any of our donation avenues.
- Take the Pet HomeCongratulations on your adoption!
Additional adoption info
Unlike most programs, we focus specifically on vetting and transporting shelter pets to states with higher demand for adoptable dogs. However, we do always have a select few pets available for adoption. WE encourage out of state applicants! If you don’t find what you are looking for, please check in often! We have new pets often.
