Rescue FAQs

Angus & Friends is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in California. Angus was an approximately 15 y.o. orange tabby found on death's door by people who lived in his neighborhood who assumed he had a home. He didn't, but probably did at one time, because he turned out to be friendly, though very sick. We tried to save him, but he ultimately had to be put down because he was not recovering after a blood transfusion due to flea anemia. Our goal is to help as many homeless cats and kittens as possible to get off the mean streets and find a furrever home.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Cats and kittens seen on Adopt-A-Pet, and other sites they cover, will be seen online by potential adopter, and, app is then submitted.
  2. Interview
    1. Angus & Friends will then contact applicant to determine if it will be a good fit, or to recommend others cats/kittens.
