Friends of FCAS - CT Transport Stop

We conduct random back ground checks for adopters and check the National "Do Not Adopt" list to ensure the pets go to a good home. If the dog is a purebred dog, we require the new owner had previously owned the breed and has reasonable expectations of the dog. We have an application and a contract that must be completed by potential adopters. We must obtain permission to speak to your veterinarian for current and/or past pet records. Personal references can be provided as well. If renting, permission to speak to your landlord is also required. If a new pet owner, we must have permission to speak to your employer. If neither are available, we are unable to adopt a pet to you.
