Ivy Woods Feline Sanctuary

Ivy Woods Feline Sanctuary is a safe haven for more than 80 feral, stray, and displaced cats. We are an all volunteer nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.

Our sanctuary's primary mission is to be a forever home for non-adoptable cats. The majority of our cats come from feral colonies or other such stray situations. They are under-socialized and/or fearful of humans and as such would not do well as a family pet.

However a few of our kitties can be very social. These more friendly cats seem to have been someone's family cat and ended up displaced through no fault of their own. In these cases Ivy Woods will work to get them out of our sanctuary and back into a loving home. This is great for the cat while it also helps to conserve our sanctuary resources.

If you see a cat that you are interested in adopting, please email us at ivywoods.org@gmail.com to ask about the adoption process. Many adoptions are considered "Foster to Adopt" meaning you will agree to care for the kitty for a fixed period to see if they are a good match for your home, and we will check in periodically to see how things are going and to offer support as needed.

Almost all of our adoptable cats are companion cats and MUST be adopted as a new family member to live with you INSIDE of your home.
