Rescue FAQs

We are a foster-based rescue. Our mission is to rescue, raise, and re-home the tiniest community felines in Hays County and surrounding rural areas. We rescue orphaned and nursing kittens aged 0-7 weeks from streets and shelters so they can receive individualized, loving care in a peaceful environment.

Kittens become eligible for adoption once they meet the following criteria: 8+ weeks of age, microchipped, vaccinated (rabies & FVRCP), and a confirmed spay/neuter appointment (if not already fixed).

Our fees are:

- Under 6 months: $79
- 6-12 months: $49
- 12+ months: $29
- Kitten Pair: $119

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Submit application for the kitty you want at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TINY/Cat
  2. Meet the Pet
    1. Meet and greet either in person or through video call (at foster guardian's discretion)
  3. Interview
    1. Conversation with foster and/or coordinator which may also take place during the meet and greet.
  4. Pay Fee
    1. After the application is approved and you have seen the kitty, you will be sent a link to check out & sign contract on your mobile device.
  5. Take the Pet Home
    1. Arrange a time and meeting place to retrieve your new kitty!
