Rescue FAQs
Rescue Junkie Mission: Our mission is to save cats and dogs from kill shelters that otherwise would not make it out alive due to lack of space, onsite medical care and exposure to potential adopters. We provide medical care to our rescued animals while they are being cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted into forever homes. Rescue Junkie operates solely on funding from donations from supporters and 100% of these donations are used to save animals in need. We are also a 100% volunteer based rescue organization. Rescue Junkie saves animals from several counties in Florida including Duval, Putnam, Bradford & Hillsborough, as well as from other states such as Georgia, Tennessee & the Carolinas. Since our inception in 2014, we have placed nearly 800 animals into adoptive homes. Thank you for your consideration in helping us continue to save more animals in need.
