SSAL is a no-kill shelter that pulls from kill shelters in our area as well as surrenders from the communities where shelters do not exist.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Applications can take 48 hours to process.
  2. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
    1. Find your perfect match. Bring your dogs to meet their new sibling.
  3. Approve Application
  4. Sign Adoption Contract
    1. This states that you will provide love and care for the pet. As well as if you are no longer able to care for the pet will return it to us.
  5. Pay Fee
    1. Puppies- $200
      Adult dogs- $175
      Senior dogs- $75
      Kittens- $100
      Adult cats- $75
      Senior cats- $50
  6. Take the Pet Home
    1. Live happily ever after! We will provide additional support after the adoption to help with training or behavioral issues that may arise.
