Survivors for Strays

Survivors for Strays is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, animal rescue organization dedicated to saving animals that are homeless, neglected, abused, or about to die in an open access animal shelter. Animals feel joy, pain, grief, and love. We are determined to help people be mindful of that and learn to value these lives to always treat them compassionately as part of the family. We are committed to providing a safe haven for those furry family members that are in dire domestic abuse situations and need a temporary home in order for domestic abuse victims to leave safely and with peace of mind. Who We Are We are Survivors & Thrivers of sexual abuse, intimate partner abuse, domestic violence, cancer, and other traumas. We are here because our furry family members or other animals helped us get through our personal ordeals, and we want to give back. It is OUR turn to save innocent, precious lives like the ones who saved us. We are friends and family members of Survivors & Thrivers. We believe in the Human-Animal Bond and will do everything we can to support this Mission. Who are we? We are YOU.
